The Reel News depends on member contributions and many have found that the fun in collecting antique reels really is in the sharing of information. Whether you are a long-time member, a recent sign-on or contemplating joining ORCA, please consider submitting a piece for the Reel News. While the goal is to spread knowledge through the Reel News and many of the articles are indeed technical in nature and based on sound research, subjects are wide ranging and often describe the human interaction that we experience through this hobby. If you had a nice time getting together with other reel collectors at a show that you’d like to share or want to tell us about what you collect or even that once in a lifetime find, start typing! ORCA always welcomes the opportunity to review pieces submitted for publication.
