ORCA has received an award from the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) for its exceptional work and contribution to preserving and sharing the history of the fishing reel and its makers. On December 17, 2013, the IGFA recognized ORCA as a member of the Historical Angling Organizations of the World.

Michael Farrior, Historian for the IGFA, personally presented the award to ORCA President, John Elder. What a wonderful way to start a new year for the organization! ORCA members across the globe are all to be commended for your contributions!
