WHAT SHOULD I HAVE PAID FOR THIS?I also had bought this reel from same guy.This cost me $100.00. #170519847634 I am out of my league with the PfLuegers,do not own any.Just thought this was cool reel.I think I need to do more reading!!!He has one reel left on his items.I am not into the trout reels.What is that one worth,I am curious.

well, the williams drag is a nice add, but the Everlaster, especially in the 350 yd size and lacking the unique Gem brake is well over priced at 100, MHO. I would think $65 at the top...and that's also MHO...

We all started out doing this and the bottom line is that if you enjoy it, it's worth it. It's a hobby and because of the crazy values placed on some fishing stuff several years ago, it's easy to get into the "investment" mind set. now, you take that Everlaster and make it 450 yd and put the gem brake back on with the Williams drag....and in 7/7 or better condition, you wouldn't be that far off.

I'm just glad that situation is done with,It all started out with my obsession for that early JVH reel he had listed,the other day.Been looking for that ball handle reel for a while,and look what happens.I have not seen a JVH ball handle for a while.I just had to have one.You are right about those crazy reel price few years ago.Go to liveauctioneers and do a history search on some reel names,totally insane.
