I guess I've just grown a little weary of thinking shoulda, coulda, woulda whenever I see for example; the lofty prices that certain early Bagley and Castaic baits are bringing nowadays. So, I'm thinking it might not be such a bad idea to purchase assorted colors of these beautifully done crustaceans, just to pack away NIB for ten, or twenty years. Given their uniqueness and eye appeal, they're basically the best contemporary fishing related item I've seen lately that have that "it" factor for potential growth. I'm not talking early retirement here of course, let's just call it recreational speculation, for lack of a better term. Future numbers of these faddish baits may also be limited given the sad fact that historically a good portion of small lure companies for one reason or another tend to hit snags, so to speak. Plus, the type of ill-tempered, and fiery critters these things are designed to catch will certainly render most of these crabs marred with teeth marks, and/or ripped limb from limb in short order, thus dwindling the future number of quality examples. So what do you think, I mean what's the worst that can happen?.........ending up having to use'em!

I like 'um and that's a good basis for starting any collection! The only problem would be if they end up working too good for fish _________________ Aloha

Got a spare Pflueger Faultless or reel stamped "Pflueger", "Tuna" or "Tarpon"?
